The Holiday Cottage in Normandy
Our gite in Brouains just outside of Sourdeval
La Belle Petite Maison is located in Brouains just outside of Sourdeval in Normandy, France.
Brouains is a beautiful and peaceful village. As there is not a shop in the village itself the local boulangerie delivers fresh baguettes and pastries three times a week and a local fish monger comes on a Thursday morning in his mobile shop.
Sourdeval is situated only 3 km from Brouains and has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay. There is a small supermarket, free tennis courts, many bars, an English bar, a pizzeria, a hotel restaurant, a local taxi service, a weekly market a take away kebab van on a Saturday night and take away Paella van on a Friday night!
The cottage itself is south facing and set in stunning countryside in the heart of The Valley De La See with amazing panoramic views. It is fully self contained and has 3 bedrooms, two doubles and a triple, which sleeps 7 comfortably, a cot is also available. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. A separate lounge and a bathroom. A separate laundry room with washing machine. The cottage has its own private enclosed garden and BBQ area which looks out over the Valley De La See and on a clear day Mont Saint Michel can been seen in the distance or so we have been told by the farmer! So, although there is so much to see and do in the area if it is a truly relaxing holiday you want, just sit back in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst sipping an aperitif!
We have landscaped the land beyond the garden to hold an above ground 30' x 15' above ground swimming pool with solar heating and a raised patio/pergola area that looks out over the pool in order that children can be supervised, that guests will have full use of.

Baby Pack
We also provide, when necessary, a baby pack which includes a mobile cot, baby bath, high chair, bouncy chair, changing matt, steriliser, potty, buggy.

The cottage has free view television, DVD and a stereo.

Bouncy Castle
Guests have the use of a bouncy castle for children that can be set up upon request.
Pets
Well behaved pets are more than welcome.
Evening Meals
We offer evening meals for an additional cost per person. All meals are home cooked and when possible (depending on the time of year) our organically home grown produce will be used. Vegetarian options are always available.
