Normandy is famous for its horse breeding and racing and there are many activities around where you can ride or enjoy watching others race. In Vire there is a Hippodrome where Trot Racing takes place and of course the famous horse shows at St Lo.
There is a horse riding school located in Brouains, opposite the cottage, which is open to the public, the trekking route runs along side our property.
There is also another riding school located near Avranches and is run by an English lady who takes parties out along the beaches.
In Barenton, about a 20 minute drive away is a riding club which takes parties out on forest trails.
