Travelling by car

Which ever ferry port you come into you will hit the Caen Ring Road in order to get here. The directions below are from the ring road if you follow them correctly you will not go wrong, honest.

Arriving on the Peraphique From Le Harve/Calais:

Once you hit the Caen Peraphique (Ring Road) get in the right hand lane (PERAPHIQUE SUD- SIGN POSTED RENNES/CHERBOURG). This will get you in the right direction.

Arriving on the Peraphique from Caen:

Follw signs for Toutes Directions and Caen Centre you will see signs for Paris- take this road and it will get you onto the Peraphique. Once on the Peraphique disregard signs for Paris.

Once on the Peraphique:

Come off the Peraphique at Exit (Sortie) 9 the slip road slips into 2 keep right head for VIRE.

This takes you onto the A84/E401, leave this road at Exit 42 - VIRE.

You will come to a roundabout and follow the signs for VIRE (D577)

Once in VIRE head to the centre- you will know as you hit a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit- basically straight over- D577 to SOURDEVAL.

Once in SOURDEVAL take the 1st exit at the roundabout- RIGHT-at next roundabout take the 2nd Exit towards BRECEY/AVRANCHES.

This is quite a windy road for about 2 miles.

Pass a factory on your right GUY DREGORNE and go over a small bridge- immediately after the bridge is a sign for BROUAINS- Take this (LEFT).

Follow road through BROUAINS it is a very small village. Once the road veers left and downhill you take the road going right- on the wall as you turn off is sign that says CHEMIN DU BOIS GUILLET- our house is 2nd on LEFT. White gates.

If you pass a sign to say you have left Brouains i.e the name of village with red line through it you have gone too far.

Flying:

Both Dinard and Rennes airport are 11/2 hours drive from us and have car rentals at the airports. Both offer cheap flights through RyanAir and Flybe, respectively.
