Eating Out in Normandy

Normandy and France are renowned for its gastronamic delights and you do not have to travel far to sample them.

The Moulin De La See

A 2 minute drive from the cottage or a 10 minute walk away, down hill though, is the restaurant and museum, The Moulin De La See. It offers a selection of traditional french food at affordable prices, from 17 Euros to 35 Euros per head for a set menu. It is worth trying the famous salmon and trout dishes.

Le Temps de Vivre

Another local restaurant this time situated in Sourdeval, it too has an extensive menu and delightful food at reasonable prices. 9 Euros to 29 Euros per head.

There are a number of good local bars in Sourdeval that offer a 'plat du jour ' at lunchtimes for under 10 euros.

Or, if you feel that you are missing a bit of English pub grub then there is the Country Kitchen bar in Sourdeval that offer typical English Pub food and has an excellent salad bar at lunchtimes.

Of course if you just fancy sitting in the garden instead of venturing out just let me know and I can have your dinner ready for you at an agreed time, simple home cooked foods - There is no way I could compete with the fabulous local quisine!

Take Away Food

There is a pizza take away and restaurant in Soudeval, a Paella van on a Thursday evening and a Keebab van on a Saturday evening.
